The IVAR.ECOCOMFORT 3 (code IVAP19996) is a decentralised ventilation unit that keeps a constant air exchange in the room without opening windows, preventing damp and mould. The regenerative ceramic exchanger stores the heat of the extract air and transfers it to the supply air with an efficiency of up to 90 %. The unit is intended for spaces up to 55 m².

Smart functions
Sensors for temperature, relative humidity, air quality (eCO2) and light control the automatic mode, in which the unit adjusts speed and cycle intervals itself. Manually you can select speeds V1–V3, SLEEP night mode, temporary supply or extract for 60 minutes and alternating flow with 45-second cycles. In summer, FREE-COOLING switches on automatically when it is cooler outside than inside. The unit is set up in the Intelliclima+ app (iOS, Android), locally via Bluetooth 5.0 or remotely via Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz; the app offers weekly programming and shows temperature, humidity, air quality and energy consumption history.
Installation
The unit is installed in an external wall with a telescopic PVC duct and a folding outdoor grille that can be fitted from inside or outside; it also works well in ducting up to 3 m straight or 2.5 m with one bend. The hole is drilled with a slight fall to the outside so that condensate does not run back. Several units in the same or adjacent rooms can be linked in Master/Slave mode. Installation must be carried out by a qualified person with the power disconnected. The delivery includes the ventilation unit with heat exchanger, telescopic duct, outdoor grille, filter, electronic control unit, covers, mounting template and manual.

Can the unit also be connected to ducting?
Yes, it also works optimally in ducting up to 3 m straight or 2.5 m with one bend. The basic installation is in an external wall.
How is the unit controlled?
With the Intelliclima+ app on a smartphone, locally via Bluetooth or remotely via Wi-Fi. The version prepared for a remote control has code IVAP21020.
How is the filter cleaned?
After disconnecting the power and removing the unit, the filter is washed in cold water and left to dry completely. The replacement insert has code IVAP1984.
