IVAR.TER-SELT DN 32 with output signal (code 10.01.11.1017) combines a SELTRON BVQ 2-way ball valve with the AQD actuator mounted on top. This actuator version offers an AUX auxiliary switch in addition to 2-point ON/OFF control, so besides shutting off the circuit it provides an output signal for other control components.

BVQ DN 32 valve

The body has Rp 1 1/4" female threads on both sides, a length of 86.3 mm and a flow coefficient Kvs of 100 m³/h. The shaft is secured against pull-out and sealed by three O-rings. The fluid temperature may range from 10 to 90 °C.

AQD actuator

• 230 V~, torque 5 Nm, 90° rotation in 13 s
• wiring: terminals 1 (N), 2 (L), 3 (OPEN), terminals 4 and 5 – AUX auxiliary switch rated 2(1) A / 230 V AC
• power consumption 5 W, below 0.25 W in standby
• manual mode by push button – the motor is disengaged and the valve is set with the rotary knob; the position is marked on the actuator
• opening direction reversible with a jumper under the rotary knob
• tool-free mounting on the valve, a latch prevents it from coming loose by itself
• protection rating IP42, safety class II to EN 60730-1, 1 m cable

The actuator has been tested for 100,000 cycles and is not damaged if the valve becomes blocked. It operates at ambient temperatures of 0 to +55 °C and humidity up to 85 % without condensation; where flooding is possible it must be installed above the expected water level. Installation and electrical connection may only be carried out by a suitably qualified person.

How does this valve differ from the version without an output signal?
The AQD actuator in this version also has an AUX auxiliary switch on terminals 4 and 5, rated 2(1) A at 230 V AC. The valve, the torque and the 13 s running time are the same.

Can the valve be operated manually?
Yes. Pressing the manual mode button disengages the motor and the valve can be set to any position with the rotary knob; pressing it again returns to automatic operation.

Can the opening direction of the valve be changed?
Yes. After removing the rotary knob, pull out the jumper, turn it to the opposite position and push it back in – no further tools are needed.
