A thermostat that makes light work of the ideal temperature

The wait is over! Once your boiler is safely connected, there is nothing to stop you enjoying the warmth of your home to the full. Set the ideal temperature with a thermostat that makes light work of reaching it. Avansa 2003 is intended for less demanding users who prefer simple controls and are happy with a basic temperature setting.

A reliable room thermostat with a minimalist design

The manual, non-programmable Avansa 2003 thermostat is suitable for controlling most boilers and air-conditioning units sold in Slovakia. Its minimalist design also ensures that it blends in with any interior. Simple operation and very quick installation are a bonus that less technically minded users will appreciate too.

Getting to know the Avansa

On the front of the thermostat there is a display with plus and minus buttons, together with a switch for changing between frost-protection and heating modes. Compared with other thermostats in the simpler category, the digital display of the Avansa 2003 thermostat allows the temperature to be measured, and the necessary values set, more precisely. Depending on the switching sensitivity selected, the thermostat switches the boiler on below the set temperature and off above it. So while providing a high level of comfort it also helps to reduce energy costs.

Get your heating going after a quick thermostat installation

Installing the Avansa 2003 thermostat and putting it into operation are very simple. There are fixing holes on the back of the device. For the thermostat to work properly and do its job, it is recommended that it be positioned 1,5 metres above floor level. On the underside there are two screws; once these are undone, the back cover opens. Under the cover are the fixing points for the thermostat and the terminals for connecting the wiring.

The thermostat needs two AA batteries to operate. Once they are in, the cover can be carefully closed and the screws put back in place. Only then does the thermostat start up automatically.  The display shows the current room temperature. Use the plus and minus buttons to enter the required temperature and the switch to change the mode. Connection to the boiler or air-conditioning unit is made with ordinary two-core cable.

The wireless Avansa for those who want more

If you would nevertheless like greater comfort and want to control the thermostat remotely, choose the wireless version, the Avansa 2003 TX. The device has two units. The first is the  control unit (thermostat) and the second switches the boiler. The units are linked by radio frequency, so there is no need to run wiring between the thermostat and the boiler. The thermostat and the receiver have their own security codes, which external signals cannot disrupt. The receiver has a range of up to 50 metres.

Get ready for winter and choose a thermostat with which pleasant warmth is easy to achieve. Do not leave the choice of thermostat to chance; think about what you will want from your heating. Whether you prefer simple controls and basic settings or enjoy “tinkering” with a more technically sophisticated device, do not hesitate to ask the specialists at Atria SK.
