IVAR.DECLO 200-5 is a column filter whose activated carbon bed captures chlorine compounds, total organic carbon (TOC), pesticides, herbicides and other organic substances. It is suitable for treating drinking, domestic and process water.

Control and regeneration
The electronic WSCI unit with five buttons (SET CLOCK, NEXT, REGEN and two arrows) starts regeneration by time or by metered volume. The bed is regenerated with rinse water only; no other substances are added to the water. Regular flushing requires at least 3 bar and a flow of 3.6 m³/h for about 20 – 30 minutes.
Installation
The filter is placed in a dry room with an air temperature of 5 – 40 °C on a level floor, leaving at least 200 mm of free space above it. It needs a drain of sufficient capacity and a 230 V socket. The installation includes shut-off valves, pressure gauges and sampling valves at the inlet and outlet, a lockable bypass and a mechanical impurity filter before and after the filter. Before start-up the filter is flushed with the outlet closed so that released particles do not enter the pipework. It can be fitted by a plumber, but commissioning must be carried out by an authorised company. The unit meets the requirements for permanent contact with drinking water.

What does the IVAR.DECLO filter remove from water?

Are chemicals added to the water during regeneration?
No. The bed is regenerated only by backwashing with water, so the filter needs a permanent drain connection and at least 3 bar of pressure.
