Vaillant flexoTHERM exclusive VWF 197/4 is the most powerful model of this system, in the power class of approximately 19 kW at point B0/W35. It is intended for large family homes, multi-generational buildings or smaller commercial buildings with higher heat loss, or as a basis for a cascade connection for even larger buildings. Even at this power level, the entire technology remains hidden in one indoor cabinet without an outdoor unit, which simplifies both design and installation. The offered set includes the passive cooling module VWZ NC 19 (for the power range 15 - 19 kW), the touch control sensoCOMFORT 720 and the internet gateway VR 940f for control via the mobile app.

Passive cooling module VWZ NC 19
The VWZ NC 19 module is intended for the most powerful models of the flexoTHERM/COMPACT exclusive range (15 - 19 kW). The principle of passive cooling remains the same — in summer, cold brine is fed directly from the ground or groundwater via a plate heat exchanger into the heating circuit, thus achieving efficient cooling of large-area buildings with minimal electricity consumption (only circulation pumps, without compressor operation). It works with floor or wall surface heating or cooling convectors and the sensoCOMFORT control automatically monitors the dew point and manages switching between heating, cooling and hot water preparation.
Controller sensoCOMFORT VRC 720 and internet gateway VR 940f
For larger installations with zoning (e.g., a combination of floor heating in the living area and radiators in technical rooms), the sensoCOMFORT 720 controller can control multiple circuits at once from one location. The internet gateway VR 940f provides full remote management via the myVAILLANT app — monitoring consumption, changing programs remotely and receiving alerts in case of faults directly to the phone, which is especially useful for large systems for quick service response.
Installation and notes
With a power of almost 20 kW, it is essential to have an accurate project prepared before purchase, including calculation of the building's heat loss and dimensioning of the ground source (number and depth of boreholes, or size of the ground collector). The electrical connection must be dimensioned for higher power including a reserve for electric boosting, and installation is carried out exclusively by a qualified heating technician. Due to the high weight, transportation is handled as oversized goods by pallet transport with delivery to the final destination, with payment by advance transfer.
