3-way diverting valve SELTRON BVQ DN 32 Rp 1 1/4" with AQD 230 V actuator, Kvs 25 – IVAR.TER-SELT
Code: 10.01.11.3005Product detailed description
IVAR.TER-SELT DN 32 (code 10.01.11.3005) is a diverting unit made up of a SELTRON BVQ vertical 3-way ball valve and an AQD actuator with 2-point ON/OFF control. On a signal from the controller it directs the water into one of two branches; the valve can also be used to split the flow.
Typical arrangements
- switching between space heating and domestic hot water production
- switching between a solid fuel boiler and a gas or oil boiler
- switching the hot water cylinder over to a gas or oil boiler
- solar systems – switching between collector arrays, between hot water cylinder and buffer tank, or to pool heating
- switching between a heat pump and a solar system for hot water, or between two heat exchangers
Valve and actuator
The DN 32 valve has Rp 1 1/4" female threads on all three ports, a length of 92 mm and a flow coefficient Kvs of 25 m³/h; the fluid temperature may be 10 to 90 °C. The 230 V~ AQD actuator delivers 5 Nm of torque, turns the valve through 90° in 13 s and consumes 5 W (below 0.25 W in standby). It is wired to terminals 1 (N), 2 (L) and 3 (OPEN); protection rating IP42, safety class II to EN 60730-1, 1 m cable.
The actuator is pushed onto the valve body by hand without tools and held by a latch. A push button switches to manual mode, in which the valve is turned with the rotary knob; the opening direction can be reversed with a jumper hidden under the knob. The current position is marked on the actuator cover. Wiring and installation should be left to a qualified professional.

Frequently asked questions
What is the BVQ 3-way diverting valve used for?
It directs the flow into one of two branches – typically between space heating and domestic hot water, between two heat sources or in solar systems. It can also be used to split the flow.
Does this actuator have an AUX auxiliary switch?
No, this version uses 2-point ON/OFF control via terminals N, L and OPEN. The version with an AUX auxiliary switch has its own code in the IVAR.TER-SELT range.
Can the valve be operated manually?
Yes. Pressing the manual mode button disengages the motor and the valve is turned with the rotary knob; pressing it again returns the actuator to automatic operation.
