Reverse osmosis water treatment unit IVAR.SOLO – two-stage 2-in-1, direct flow 78 l/h, 300 × 140 × 200 mm – SALE
Code: ESMO1500PECOProduct detailed description
Pure water right in the kitchen
IVAR.SOLO is a small reverse osmosis unit designed for installation at the point of use, for example in a kitchen cabinet. All treatment is handled by a single 2-in-1 cartridge: the 500 GPD reverse osmosis membrane retains up to 99 % of impurities, including viruses and bacteria, and reduces PFAS, and the coconut-fibre carbon block then improves the taste and smell of the water. Treated water flows directly at 1.3 l/min (78 l/h).
Economical and safe operation
- 50 % recovery – up to 50 % water saving
- automatic membrane flushing extends membrane life
- automatic shut-off after 120 minutes of continuous operation
- water leak detector
- display showing faults and cartridge life
- dry cartridge change in under 5 minutes
Installation and requirements
An installation kit is included; threaded connections 1/2" and 3/8", power supply 230 V / 50 Hz. Inlet water pressure must be 1 to 4 bar – so a pressure reducing valve belongs upstream of the unit – and water temperature +5 to +30 °C. Do not use water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection. The IVAR.MFV remineralising post-filter (ESPD2010ECO) can be added at the outlet to enrich the water with minerals. The RO plus replacement cartridge has code ESCSVPDRO500 and is changed every 12 months.

Frequently asked questions
How often is the IVAR.SOLO cartridge changed?
The manufacturer recommends a change every 12 months, or sooner with poorer inlet water or higher consumption. The RO plus replacement cartridge has code ESCSVPDRO500; the change is dry and takes under 5 minutes.
Does the unit add minerals to the water?
Not on its own, but the IVAR.MFV remineralising post-filter (code ESPD2010ECO) can be added at its outlet to enrich the water with minerals.
Why is it recommended to pour away the first glasses of water in the morning?
While the unit stands overnight, some dissolved substances can naturally diffuse through the membrane, so the water contains slightly more of them in the morning. The manufacturer therefore recommends pouring away the first two glasses or using them to water plants.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
