Water softener IVAR.DEVAP TWIN 075 with two pressure vessels for continuous operation – 1" connection
Code: IVA.807.DV-DUPLEXProduct detailed description
The main advantage of the IVAR.DEVAP TWIN 075 is continuous operation: the two pressure vessels alternate, so softened water keeps flowing during regeneration without any downtime. The softener is designed for treating drinking water, is also suitable for heating and process water and meets the requirements for permanent contact with drinking water.
Control
The TWIN version has one programmable electronic control unit and a changeover valve that switches between the pressure vessels. The unit includes a brine tank with a brine line, and the water hardness at the outlet can be adjusted.
Data for IVAR.DEVAP TWIN 075
- assembly dimensions W × D × H: 922 × 311 × 1419 mm, brine tank Ø 585 × 1040 mm
- inlet/outlet connection 1", drain 3/4" male thread
- indicative operating flow 4.5 m³/h, cyclic capacity 2 × 400 m³·°f
- max. pressure 6 bar, water temperature 5 – 35 °C, ambient temperature 5 – 40 °C
Installation and operation
For stepless adjustment of the outlet hardness, an external bypass valve is installed on the bypass line, for example a gate valve or an IVAR.TOP BALL regulating ball valve. The unit needs a level, load-bearing floor, a drain of sufficient capacity, a 230 V socket and at least 3 bar at a flow of at least 2 m³/h for 20 – 30 minutes. The brine tank is topped up with tablet regeneration salt for water softeners (code 410.600.44CS); consumption depends on the water hardness. Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified person.

Frequently asked questions
Does the softener supply soft water during regeneration too?
Yes, the two pressure vessels alternate, so the unit runs non-stop without any downtime for regeneration.
What is the difference between the TWIN and DUPLEX versions?
TWIN 030 – 110 has one control unit with a changeover valve, DUPLEX 140 – 500 has two control units and an external three-way valve. The IVAR.DEVAP TWIN 075 belongs to the TWIN 030 – 110 range.
How is the outlet hardness adjusted?
With an external bypass valve on the bypass line, for example a gate valve or an IVAR.TOP BALL regulating ball valve, which must be added during installation.
How much space does the unit need?
The IVAR.DEVAP TWIN 075 assembly measures 922 × 311 × 1419 mm and the brine tank Ø 585 × 1040 mm. Leave at least 200 mm above the unit plus space for the connections.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
