hydraulic separators
A hydraulic separator is installed between the heat source and the heating circuits so that the boiler pump and the circuit pumps do not interfere with each other's flow. Options include versions for horizontal distribution manifolds DN 20 to DN 32 and low-loss headers from 1" to 6/4" for 1600 to 6000 l/h. The IVAR.LO-PHS floor support is available for DN 40 to DN 65 separators.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is a hydraulic separator (pressure balancer) used for? It separates the primary boiler circuit from the secondary heating circuits and equalizes the different flow rates between them, preventing them from hydraulically affecting each other.
- How to choose the correct size of separator? According to the maximum flow rate in l/h that the device needs to handle - variants ranging from 1600 to 6000 l/h are available.
- Is a separator necessary with multiple circuits with different flow rates? Yes, it prevents the pumps of individual circuits from affecting each other and stabilizes the system's hydraulics.
- Can the separator be connected directly to a horizontal DN 25/32 manifold? Yes, variants designed specifically for these manifolds are available.
