Underfloor heating, or floor heating, is nowadays regarded as the most efficient way to heat a house or flat, chiefly because of its unique properties and advantages, such as even heat across the whole floor area, which can never be achieved with radiators. You can also use any kind of tiles or floor covering, except carpets.  Installing underfloor heating is very simple: all you need is polystyrene for underfloor heating, in other words system insulation boards. Underfloor heating can be controlled in just the same way as radiator heating, although with a different response time, since a heated floor always takes longer to warm up.
