What you need with a gas boiler and hot water cylinder

Below are the products you may need for a condensing or gas boiler with a hot water cylinder

Every domestic boiler of standard output already includes

a wall-mounting kit, an expansion vessel and a pump.

It never includes a thermostat or other controller, flue pipes or

filters, ball valves and other materials.

These therefore have to be ordered separately.

Good evening, I have a few questions for you: I own a PANTER CONDENS 25 KKO boiler and its connections are not the same as shown on your website, i.e. in your picture the hot water connection is to the left of the gas hose and the radiator heating connection is to the right of the gas hose, whereas my boiler is connected as follows: the hot water is on the two inner connections either side of the gas hose and the radiator heating connections are on the outside. I would therefore like to ask whether my boiler is connected correctly, as I studied your diagram and was left rather puzzled. Thank you

Hello, I am finishing the construction of a new house and would be interested in products from your range. I would like to ask whether special prices and delivery can be agreed on the basis of a certain volume. Admittedly, I have not decided on everything yet, but I know I want to use a single supplier for everything, for practical reasons. I would therefore be glad if we could agree special prices and take everything from one supplier at once or in two deliveries. Here is the list of products I already know I am interested in: Cooker hood Concept OPK 5760 Elica Belt BL/80 Elica Belt BL/F55 Elica IX/F/80 Elica IX/F/55 I will be buying one and am choosing between these models Bath also 1 pc, I am choosing between 2 models. Whether I take it in 2 batches or we choose the rest and then take everything at once is open to agreement. In any case, the quantities are right and this is to give you an idea of the total volume I want to buy - list of items. 2 WC pans 3 basins with cabinets 3 mirrors with cabinets cabinets for 2 bathrooms And of course kitchen equipment 1 American-style fridge freezer 1 large dishwasher 1 induction hob 1 electric oven 1 washing machine 1 microwave oven + small items such as an electric meat grinder, coffee machine ... The house is in Moravany nad Váhom near Piešťany. The timescale is roughly some time between March and May. But I know that some products have delivery times of up to 6 weeks, so I would like to sort this out in good time. Payment is not a problem: cash, invoice, pro forma invoice or a deposit. I trust we can reach an agreement to the satisfaction of both sides. Kind regards

Hello, I have underfloor heating in my house with 2 circuits (each has its own manifold, to which the individual rooms are connected). Circuit 1 is for the ground floor, circuit 2 for the loft. The DHW pipework has secondary circulation. I am planning a Vaillant ecoTEC plus boiler with a hot water cylinder there. Could you please advise me how to connect the boiler to the pipework - are circulation pumps and a manifold needed - do you have something like that in your range? Thank you

Hello, I have an older Junkers ZWR 24-3KE gas boiler and a Quantum Q7-50-WRRT-5 gas water heater. Could you prepare a quotation for a conventional gas boiler /preferably Junkers/ and a gas water heater flued into the chimney, something similar, so that not much needs to be altered? Thank you

Hello, we have underfloor heating throughout the house and I would like to add some extra heating in, for example, the bathroom or the children's room. What would you advise? Just some radiators with an electric heating element, or running pipework for radiators ahead of the underfloor heating manifold, or using thermal actuators? I would welcome any advice or other suggestion, and thank you very much in advance.

Hello, I would like to ask about using the Protherm Panther Condens 12 KKO boiler to heat 40 m2 of underfloor heating, with radiators for another 40 m2. What else do I need to buy for this boiler? Which hot water cylinders do you offer and what other accessories, so that it works for the underfloor heating, the radiators and hot water as well? Thank you for your reply.

Hello, to heat an 80 m2 floor you definitely need a 14 kW boiler. Buderus offers various models, but you did not say whether you are interested in a boiler with a hot water cylinder or a combi boiler. Feel free to write again and I will be glad to answer.

Hello, I would like to ask about something. We are renovating a two-storey house. Downstairs we want underfloor heating and upstairs radiators in the rooms. The boiler should be in the cellar, with the flue going into the chimney. We want an external hot water cylinder, because there will be three of us, but in time there will be more. The ground floor and the basement are each around 55 m2. I would like to ask whether, in your view, a Protherm Panther Condens 12 KKO boiler would be enough for us, with a cylinder bought to go with it later. Can you tell us whether it is a reliable boiler? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hello, it is also important to state the heat loss of the building. If you have no way of finding it out, a rule of thumb of a 10 kW boiler per 100 square metres will do. As for Protherm, we can say that these are essentially the best-selling boilers in Slovakia and, what is more, reliable too. Have a nice day.

Hello, I have no way of finding out the heat loss, but it also occurs to me to ask whether such a boiler will be enough to heat the underfloor heating, which covers around 50 m2, plus the radiators + hot water. Thank you very much in advance for your reply. Monika

Hello, any boiler will cope with underfloor heating as well as radiators; if you have up to about 100 square metres of floor area, go for a 14 kW boiler, and if more, then rather the 24 kW one.

Sorry, I am just studying the detail of the picture on this website, so my previous question, "WHAT else do I need for it", will probably be answered here. But I would still welcome that comparison. I have a quotation and the boiler prices in it are higher, so I would probably save something, though not a great deal, by buying from you. Kind regards,

Hello, could you advise us on choosing a condensing boiler, or rather a condensing boiler package? We are renovating a cottage where the heating is being installed from scratch... the lower floor will have underfloor heating and the upper floor radiators. Hot water should be supplied from a cylinder. The floor area is 70 m2 downstairs and 70 m2 upstairs. Thank you very much for your advice.

Hello, I will gladly advise. First of all you need to decide between a combi boiler and an external hot water cylinder. If you are a larger family, then definitely a boiler and cylinder, for example Junkers or Vaillant (there is currently a promotion that includes a weather-compensated thermostat) https://www.atria.sk/kondenzacne-kotly/zostavy-kotol-a-zasobnik/junkers/ and https://www.atria.sk/kondenzacne-kotly/zostavy-kotol-a-zasobnik/vaillant/ . If there are only one or two of you, a combi boiler really would be enough https://www.atria.sk/kondenzacne-kotly/s-prietokom-ohrevom-tuv/ and if you cannot decide, the best compromise is a boiler with a built-in cylinder: it works like a combi boiler but also has a 45-litre cylinder inside. https://www.atria.sk/kondenzacne-kotly/so-vstavanym-zasobnikom/ For you, though, probably a 14 or 16 kW boiler; a higher output would use a lot of gas because of the high minimum output.

Good evening, thank you for the quick reply. We do of course want a boiler and cylinder, not a combi boiler. The Junkers boiler caught my eye; since it should be 16 kW, would that be the ZSBR 16-3A + 120 2E, or some 16 kW model from Buderus? Nobody we know has a Vaillant; most have Junkers, Buderus or Viessmann. I would also like to ask: we are from Žilina, is it possible to visit your company?

In fact Buderus and Junkers boilers are almost identical; both belong to the manufacturer BOSCH. So your options are 14 kW https://www.atria.sk/cerapursmart-zsb-14-3-c-120-2-e/ then 16 kW https://www.atria.sk/cerapurcomfort-zsbr-16-3-a-st-120-2-e/ and finally the Buderus 14 kW https://www.atria.sk/buderus-logamax-plus-gb-072-14-logalux-s-120-2/, which means the Junkers 14 and the Buderus 14 cost almost the same, but the Junkers also has the FW 100 weather-compensated thermostat included in the boiler price, so you save 131 euros straight away.

Hello, I have a general question. We are renovating our house and need a gas boiler for heating / approx. 100-120 m2/ and for hot water. We are a household of 3, and I have in mind something like 100-120 l. I would like to stay within a maximum price of 1500 €. Could you recommend something? Thank you. I am only interested in the boiler; the accessories I have already arranged with the heating engineer and the gas fitter.

Hello. First of all you need to decide between condensing and conventional. But if you are renovating the house, definitely condensing. Four promotions are currently running. Within the 1500 budget there is a Protherm with a built-in cylinder https://www.atria.sk/protherm-tiger-condens-25-kkz-42/ then Junkers boilers, some with a free thermostat https://www.atria.sk/kondenzacne-kotly/zostavy-kotol-a-zasobnik/junkers/ and Vaillant, where the thermostat is also free https://www.atria.sk/kondenzacne-kotly/zostavy-kotol-a-zasobnik/vaillant/ It may also be worth recalculating the other materials you have already had priced https://www.atria.sk/clanky/podlahove-kurenie-a-vykurovanie/
