Shown below are products you may need for an electric boiler on its own or with a hot water cylinder |

Every domestic boiler of ordinary output already includes a wall-mounting kit, an expansion vessel and a pump. It never includes a thermostat or any other controller. Nor flue pipes or filters, ball valves and other materials. These therefore need to be ordered separately. |

Good afternoon, I would like to ask something. We have an electric boiler that is quite old and we run it at an output of 9 KW, although it is rated at 15 kw. We would like a new one. Which one, given that we need water for radiators on the upper floor and underfloor heating on the ground floor? Is it also possible to replace the four-way valve with one of your control units? At the moment we run the boiler at 75 degrees and use the 4-way valve to bring the temperature down for the underfloor heating

Good afternoon. I am afraid I do not quite follow you. You have a boiler and want to replace it with a new one. What do you need the 4-way valve for? Do you have an older cylinder? Yes, and you will have to buy new controls here as well. Have a nice day.

Sorry, I did not express myself well. We have a Protherm electric boiler with an output of 15 kw but we only use 9 kw; we keep the 65 kw in reserve. We have no water cylinder on the heating, we only heat instantaneously. So, no cylinder. Water comes out of the boiler at 70 degrees and I send it to the radiators. I have a 4-way valve that regulates the water for the underfloor heating to the temperature I set. So I would like to ask whether you have a boiler that already has a 4-way valve, or which boiler you would recommend. I have already been looking at boilers: attack electric excellent 15 kw, or protherm raja 14 k, or buderus dakon daline pte 14 kw. You have attractive prices and I cannot decide. Or what would you recommend? The thermona therm el 15 is interesting too.

Good afternoon. The boilers do have three-way valves, but only for hot water; on the heating side only the flow temperature can be regulated. I think that valve of yours will have to stay. Have a nice day.

And which boiler would you recommend?

Good afternoon. I would recommend the Protherm Raja 14 kW: https://www.atria.sk/protherm-ray-14k-15k/. Have a nice day.

what supply cable is needed for the boiler and the thermostat
-
Good afternoon, the cable for the boiler is already included. For the room thermostat an ordinary two-core cable is enough. Have a nice day.

Good afternoon, > I need some advice and a price for heating materials. > I am going to connect the radiators myself. For the main run I wanted to use 80 metres of three-quarter-inch pipe, coming off it with a 16x tee with a reducer to half-inch, and 16m of half-inch pipe to the individual radiators. For the side connection, a half-inch 16 x elbow. > I have an electric boiler and aluminium radiators with valves. Have I guessed the pipe sizes right, or could thinner ones be used? It is a bungalow. > Please price up materials that would not be too expensive and that I could manage myself without a welder or a press tool. > I would also need a good-quality but reasonably priced circulation pump and an expansion vessel. I am from Košice. > Thank you

Good afternoon, we are an online retailer and unfortunately we do not prepare quotations of this kind. I am sending you a link where you will find the materials you need with current prices - https://www.atria.sk/clanky/co-treba-ku-elektrickemu-kotlu/. Have a nice day.

Good afternoon, if I am considering a Protherm Raja electric boiler for underfloor and radiator heating, do I need to buy any additional equipment?

Hello. I have a few questions for you. We are going to build a house, and as we have no gas, only electricity, we would like a solid fuel (wood) boiler combined with electric heating. The way I picture it, when I am at home I will stoke the boiler, and when it goes out and the temperature drops to a certain value, it will switch over to electricity automatically. Does such a thing exist? And if so, what is best suited to it, and can water heating be combined in the same way? (when the wood boiler is running it also heats the water; when the electric boiler comes on, it heats the water instead)
-
Good afternoon, this can be solved fairly easily. On the solid fuel boiler you fit the thermostat https://www.atria.sk/elektricky-termostat-adex-ttuv/ and set on it the temperature below which the electric boiler – for example that Protherm Raja – switches on automatically; you route the contact from the electric boiler through the solid fuel boiler thermostat. A hot water cylinder can be connected as well, but I cannot tell you exactly how at the moment, as I cannot see the wiring diagram.
