EMOS Thermostat Models: How P5604, P56S01, and P56A01 Differ

EMOS thermostat models may seem confusing at first glance, but in reality they follow a simple key. Using it, you can make a selection within a few minutes.

Manual thermostats: P5604, P5614, P5608 and P5618

The simplest group. You set one temperature and the thermostat maintains it. Models ending with 4 and 8 are wired, models with 14 and 18 are wireless with a receiver at the boiler. They are suitable for an apartment, cottage or a simple electric boiler, where no one wants to program.

Programmable thermostats: P5607, P5606OT and P5616OT

They add a weekly schedule, meaning a different temperature in the morning, during the day and at night. The suffix OT stands for OpenTherm, where the thermostat sends the boiler not just on/off commands, but directly the desired water temperature. The boiler then modulates its power, cycles less and consumes significantly less gas during the transitional period.

WiFi range GoSmart: P56S01, P56S11, P56201 and P56211

The thermostat connects to your home WiFi and is controlled via an app. Models S01 and 201 are wired, S11 and 211 are wireless. Versions with UF or F in the designation are floor-standing, supplied with a cable sensor in the floor.

OpenTherm range: P56A01, P56A02 and P56A11

Models A are a newer generation of OpenTherm thermostats with a larger display. A01 and A02 are wired, A11 is wireless. If your boiler has an OpenTherm bus, this is the most energy-efficient option in the entire range.

How to choose in one minute

• Your boiler has OpenTherm and you want the lowest consumption: P56A01, P56A11 or P5616OT.
• You want to control heating from your mobile phone: P56S01, P56S11 or P56211.
• You just want to maintain the temperature and not worry about anything else: P5604 or wireless P5614.
• You are regulating floor heating: P56S01F or P56201UF with a floor sensor.
